We want our school library to be a place where the children enjoy going and where they fall in love with books. Chatterbooks, our after school reading group, have been working hard helping to transform our library into a wonderful woodland.
Chatterbooks have also entered a competition to try and win books for our library - so fingers crossed.
- Reading for pleasure is more important to a child's educational achievement than their family's wealth or social class.
Mrs Thompson runs the Chatterbooks club after school on a Wednesday with the help of Mrs Young and Miss Young. If you too would be interested in helping out in school then please approach Mrs Ward for more information.
"I've always been a total bookworm and practically lived in my local library when I was a child."
