A SPECIAL EDITION FROM PGL!
A message from Mrs Ward
Dear Parents and Children,
Greetings from a very damp Shrewsbury!
I have spent this week up in Shropshire with our year 6 children, as they have been on their residential trip. We have had the most amazing week and have been blessed with lovely instructors and Katy (yes Katy) our group leader. The children have been amazing (as always) and have been a credit to, not only their parents, but us all as a school community. They continue to promote the positive reputation that accompanies St Michael's and I so proud of what they have all achieved this week. We travel back this afternoon so please continue to remember the staff and children in your prayers.
Last Sunday we celebrated Pentecost Sunday and we remembered how Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be with his disciples. In difficult times we must remember, that we too are disciples of Jesus and that we must answer his call to spread peace in our world. We asked the children this week to think of even the smallest ways in which they could spread peace in our school and at home with you as families. Please help us by continuing their discussion with your children.
I wish you a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week.
