As a school we work hard to provide our children with a relevant curriculum which is tailored to the needs of our children.  Staff have found that our children can have very limited knowledge and this can pose a problem when we are learning about history or geography.  

You can support your children by taking them to some of the many free museums we have on our doorstep.  Below are some links to museums that would enhance the children's knowledge and support their learning.

‘There’s no doubt that cultural activity enriches day to day and it’s important that children embrace our history and culture now, to ensure that is it passed on through the generations.

‘A few trips during the year to museums, landmarks or even cultural festivals will prove to be memorable, informative and fun occasions for youngsters.’
