St Michael'sCatholic Primary School

Music is taught as a separate subject in every year group by a music specialist teacher. It plays an important part in the life of the school.  Year 5 and Year 6 children receive trumpet or clarinet lessons as part of the Every Child a Musician programme. We also offer keyboard and violin tuition to children in years 3-6 provided by our Newham Music Hub tutors.

There are after school clubs such as recorder and choir clubs.  Children learn to sing a variety of songs, including hymns, which are performed during mass, liturgies and assemblies.
