St Michael'sCatholic Primary School

Year 4

We are wonderful Class 4.

We have been developing our creative writing using Talk 4 Writing, you may have seen our story maps which help us to learn a text and develop it in an innovative and more descriptive way.

In Autumn term, we visited House Mill in Bromley-by-Bow to learn all about the history of a mill and what it was used for. We also had a great time finding out about The River Lea and learning how it has changed over the last few years. This was part of our Geography topic and we really enjoyed developing our knowledge and our vocabulary.

Year 4 had a main role in the school Carol concert and acted out the Nativity in Church, during the last week of term.

Over the Christmas holidays, Year 4 were set a project all about our History topic, ‘The Romans’.

The children worked incredibly hard to produce beautiful, informative work and it is now displayed outside of our classroom.
